Curling 2010 (12)
Being a Canadian company the law requires that we engage in a typically Canadian activity at least once a year. Well, that's not entirely true, we just like throwing heavy objects down long sheets of ice. There were many hijinks and a couple spills, but no serious injuries. Needless to say Kevin Martin better watch out, because the 3DI Rink is serious training. -
Christmas Party 2009 (9)
The 2009 3DI Christmas was a fantastic success. The Blue Chair Cafe was packed with staff, family, friends and clients. The food was superb, the music was happening and the simulations were a big hit. This was the first public viewing of the Snubco snubbing sim and the crowd around the unit was thick the whole night. Those that stayed until the end of the night were treated to a serenade by 3DI's own rock star Kelly Morstad as he jammed with the band. -
Paintball Battle 2009 (3)
Serious games aren’t always serious business... A while back some of the staff at 3DI took time off to decompress - by shooting at each other! It was decided that the best way to take a well deserved break would be to go out and get some compressed air guns and fire paint pellets at each other. Fortunately there weren’t any casualties, but there were many bruises, laughs and a few screams (no names mentioned).
